Excellent Information

itsonemoremile:

Food
Food is an edible plant or animal that grows, walks or swims on the earth and its waters with no genetic engineering, no hormone-driven growth, and no synthetic chemical substances to mimic natural qualities. Over millennia human metabolism and cultures have adapted to the foods growing in every ecological niche.

Anything else is a MESS (Manufactured Edible Substitute Substance)
Any edible substance other than real food is a MESS. A MESS has genetic engineering, hormone and antibiotic residue from concentrated production, and synthetic additives. Emerging research demonstrates that human metabolism cannot handle MESSes. MESSes subvert food cultures and food sovereignty. MESSes and the processes used in their manufacture and packaging contribute to the alarming toxic load that every human being now carries.

Other useful information:

The Body only recognizes 5 things, Proteins, Fats, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, and Minerals, and it wants to have these substances in as close to its natural form as possible.  Anytime we eat processed food it affects not only our DNA’s ability to replicate and repair itself properly by bogging it down with toxins,  but also our brain’s ability to transmit and receive the frequencies in our thinking via the neurotransmitters that are thrown off balance. I can write a whole blog just dedicated to nutrition and neurochemistry- it is a passion of mine. For instance Caffeine we all love it and most people think it gives us energy but it really doesn’t, it is a natural lipid based compound known as a methylxanthine. Methalxanthines work by stimulating the release of the neurotransmitter  norepinephrine which is also called noradrenaline ,which is very similar to the hormone adrenaline. Norepinephrine is stored in the brain. Caffeine stimulates the release of the stored norepinephrine in the brain. However, the crash comes later when the store is depleted and there is a lack in the amino acids phenylalanine and tyrosine in the body which are the precursors to norepinephrine and dopamine. Vitamins B6 and C also facilitate that conversion in the brain. Food sources high in phenylalanine and tyrosine are cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, fish, meats, poultry, peanuts, sesame seeds, avocados, bananas, almonds, and legumes. The “five hour energy” people and the like, have cashed in on this knowledge —just read the label next time you buy one. But you can get a similar boost by eating the aforementioned foods as snacks not to mention all the other benefits they provide.
